Job summary

Heron Design and Distribution LLP in Pune is seeking a Sales Engineer with BE Electrical to promote and sell our electrical products and solutions.

You will identify opportunities, present technical proposals, conduct site visits and demos, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver custom solutions. The role requires strong communication and willingness to travel; prior industrial/electrical product sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical components, systems, or automation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Experience in industrial or electrical product sales is a plus.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a background in Electrical Engineering (BE) to promote and sell our electrical products and solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to support customers, identify new business opportunities, and help drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the electrical and industrial sector. Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions. Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to deliver custom solutions. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and contracts. Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales support. Achieve sales targets and report on market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical). Strong technical knowledge of electrical components, systems, or automation solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into solutions. Willingness to travel as needed.
