Job summary

Pooja Engineering Co, Mumbai is seeking a Sales Engineer (Valves/Pumps) to engage local and international clients, conduct technical evaluations, prepare offers and drive orders.

The role requires a BE/ diploma/ B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years of experience, and coordination with purchase and dispatch. You will support the sales team with technical documentation and customer communication.

Qualifications

• End to End customer handling.
• Adequate technical knowledge of valves/pumps and sales.

Responsibilities

• a) Conduct in-depth research on inquiries and prepare offers for local and international clients.
• b) Convert offers into Purchase Order.
• c) Technical Evaluation of Valves/Pumps: technical selection, costing, GA drawings, datasheet, QCP/QAP, sub-vendor finalization.
• d) Monitor competitors and dealer networks.
• e) Client visits for technical and commercial discussions and order finalization.
• f) Coordinate with Vendors & Purchase Dept for material.
• g) Coordinate with Execution & Dispatch teams to meet delivery timelines.
• h) Prepare Technical Documentation per Codes and Standards.
• i) Proficiency in KSB Portal operations.
• j) Track material status and store quantities.

Primary Responsibility

Operations

• a) To conduct in-depth research on inquiries, and prepare offers for local and international clients.
• b) Convert offers into Purchase Order.
• c) Technical Evaluation of Valves/Pumps: - Technical selection and calculation, submitting technical curves, G.A. Drawings, filled datasheet, Cross-Sectional drawings, QCP, QAP, Costing sheet preparation, negotiation and finalization of Sub- venders for Valves.
• d) Constantly conscious of our competitor and other dealer networks
• e) Client visit for Technical and commercial discussion and order finalization.
• f) Arranging Material by Coordinating with Vendors & Purchase Department.
• g) Coordination with Execution & Dispatch team to dispatch the material in committed delivery period.
• h) Prepare Technical Documentation as per Codes and Standers.
• i) Proficiency in operation of KSB (Technical Documentation) Portal.
• j) Coordinating with the internal departments of organization and also tracking the status of the material as well as store quantity.

Technical support

• a) Provide technical training to customers and service partners
• b) Technical support to sales team

Reporting

Daily, Weekly Reporting of activities and Meetings
