Job summary

Ashkom is seeking a Safety Supervisor (HS&E) for our Baddi, Himachal Pradesh site. The role is full-time with rotational duties, focused on ensuring HS&E compliance, conducting safety trainings, and supporting KPI initiatives.

The candidate will manage safety programs, perform risk assessments, oversee contractor safety, and drive incident reporting and corrective actions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Graduation with HS&E / Safety Certification from a recognized institute.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or project site safety.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessment, permit-to-work, and contractor safety management.
• Strong communication, training, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to independently manage site-level safety compliance and KPI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a qualified HS&E resource is available at the site as per company safety requirements.
• Conduct and monitor site safety activities in compliance with HS&E standards and site SOPs.
• Attend and actively participate in Daily DDS meetings and Monthly KPI Review Meetings.
• Perform contractor qualification and onboarding assessments for new contractors as per site SOP.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training programs for all workers.
• Support and actively participate in quarterly safety campaigns and awareness programs.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Track, implement, and fulfill all 9 KPI safety requirements on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct routine site inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to safe work practices by all personnel.
• Report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions and support corrective action implementation.
