Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking a Safety Officer to monitor safety practices at the project site in India. You will ensure workers wear PPE such as helmet, safety shoes, gloves, and belt, and you will keep daily safety inspection records.

You will report accidents and near misses to the Safety Officer/Supervisor, conduct toolbox talks, maintain barricading and signs, and assist in emergency safety activities. Diploma holders with 1 year safety experience encouraged to apply; a 5-day work week and

• Diploma with minimum 1 year relevant safety experience.
• 5-Day Work Week: weekends off and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety practices at the project site and ensure PPE use.
• Check site regularly for unsafe conditions and practices.
• Ensure workers follow site safety rules and instructions.
• Monitor safety during lifting, electrical work, heights, welding, etc.
• Maintain housekeeping and daily safety inspection records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Ensure barricading, warning signs, and safe site access.
• Assist in emergency and fire safety activities.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.

• Ensure workers follow site safety rules and instructions.
  
• Monitor safety during lifting, electrical work, working at height, welding, and other site activities.
  
• Maintain proper housekeeping at work site.
  
• Conduct basic toolbox talks and safety awareness for workers.
  
• Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the Safety Officer/Supervisor.
  
• Ensure proper barricading, warning signs, and safe access at the site.
  
• Assist in emergency and fire safety activities.
  
• Monitor contractor and worker compliance with safety requirements.
  
• Maintain daily safety inspection/checklist records.
  
• Immediately report any serious safety violation to the concerned supervisor.
  
• Perform other safety-related duties assigned by the Project/Safety team.
