Job summary

Fishfa Biogenics seeks an EHS compliance professional to manage environmental, health and safety standards at its API manufacturing operations in India. The role involves ensuring regulatory adherence, implementing safety policies, and coordinating with production and QC teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations in the API manufacturing plant.
• Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and EHS policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Monitor PPE compliance, fire safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency mock drills.
• Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain EHS records, incident reports, permits, and statutory documentation.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Engineering, and other departments to maintain safe working conditions.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
