Job summary

Cipla in Navi Mumbai is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to oversee site safety and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and leading incident investigations to drive corrective actions.

You will perform risk assessments (JSA/HIRA), approve permits for high-risk activities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive actions and training programs for employees.

• Monitor adherence to safety policies and procedures and guidelines in line with corporate STD and regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports with recommended corrective actions.
• Approve work permit for critical activities.
• Ensure timely closing of NCs and audits recommendation.
• To meet the safety goals as per set by the organization.
