Job summary

Kirby Building Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced HSE professional to implement and monitor safety programs at construction sites across civil and structural work. You will ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements while coordinating safety activities.

The role covers risk assessments, toolbox talks, PTW, JSA, PPE management, incident investigations, and maintaining safety records.

Qualifications

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures at construction sites to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction programmes and safety awareness sessions for employees, contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident registers and statutory safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures at construction sites to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments across civil construction, structural steel erection, roofing and cladding activities.
• Ensure safe execution of PEB erection activities, including working at heights, lifting operations, scaffolding, welding, cutting and material handling.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction programmes and regular safety awareness sessions for employees, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with site safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements and other safety procedures.
• Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools, cranes, electrical equipment and other construction machinery to ensure safe working conditions.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions, report potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent workplace accidents.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, prepare reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident registers, training records and statutory safety documentation.
