Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced HSE professional to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance for a Data Center construction project in Mumbai. You will ensure safe execution of site activities, contractor compliance, and adherence to statutory and client safety requirements.

The role requires leading safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, PTW/LOTO management, and incident investigations, with a focus on continuous safety improvements and reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety required.
• NEBOSH IGC preferred, ISO 45001 knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement and monitor HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/local regulations and client safety standards.
• Manage permit-to-work, LOTO, work at height, lifting, hot work, and confined space activities.
• Review contractor method statements, JSA/JHA, and safety documentation.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; ensure corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Prepare HSE reports and present safety metrics to stakeholders.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and client safety standards.
• Manage permit-to-work systems, LOTO, work-at-height, lifting, hot work, and confined space activities.
• Review contractor method statements, JSA/JHA, and safety documentation.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Prepare HSE reports and present safety performance metrics to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• ISO 45001 knowledge preferred.

Required Experience

• 7-9 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Industrial, or Large Infrastructure projects.
• Prior PMC/Owner's Consultant experience preferred.
