Job summary

Sai Placement is seeking a Safety Incharge to lead safety initiatives at Ankleshwar. The role requires 4–10 years of experience and a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Safety Engineering or related fields. You will oversee safe practices across manufacturing and projects, and implement PTW/LOTO and other safety systems.

You will conduct risk assessments, training, and emergency drills, ensuring PPE compliance and incident investigation support. This position is on-site in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Safety Engineering or related fields.
• Recognized safety qualification with industrial safety exposure.
• 4–10 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices across manufacturing and project activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Implement PTW, LOTO, Hot Work, Work at Height and Confined Space procedures.
• Conduct HIRA / JSA / Risk Assessments.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safe working conditions.
• Support incident/near-miss investigation and CAPA.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and emergency drills.
• Ensure safety compliance during Pressure Vessel, Process Equipment, Reactor, Heat Exchanger and Heavy Fabrication activities.
• Monitor welding, gas cutting, grinding, lifting, material handling, hydro testing and pressure testing safety.
• Monitor PPE, housekeeping, emergency exits and safe material storage.

Experience: 4 to 10 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Safety Engineering / Industrial Safety / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with recognized Safety

Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering industry (Avoid experience related to chemical industry)

Ensure safe working practices across manufacturing and project activities.
