Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions is seeking a dedicated safety leader to oversee regulatory compliance, risk assessment, training, and documentation across plant operations. You will coordinate with production, maintenance, HR, and other departments to implement safety policies and drive a strong safety culture.

The role requires hands-on management of audits, CAPA, and safety reporting, with responsibilities spanning policy development, incident investigation, and team mentoring to ensure

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as Factories Act, OSHA standards, GPCB, Pollution Control Board, etc.
• Develop and implement plant safety policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct internal safety audits, inspections, and ensure timely closure of non‑compliances.
• Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and HAZOP for chemical processes.
• Monitor high‑risk activities such as confined space entry, hot work, chemical handling, material movement, etc.
• Investigate incidents/accidents/near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct safety training programs for employees, contract workers, and new joiners.
• Organize toolbox talks, mock drills, safety campaigns, and awareness programs.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, MSDS, permits, and legal records.
• Prepare monthly safety reports, KPIs, accident statistics, and present to management.
• Ensure proper documentation of ISO 45001/14001 or other safety management systems.
• Lead and mentor the safety team, including Safety Officers and EHS executives.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, HR, and other departments for safety implementation.
