Job summary

P & G Constructions is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer / HSE Engineer for our 80 MLD MBR Project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe execution of large-scale civil and structural construction activities at site.

You will implement and monitor project HSE procedures, conduct daily site inspections, identify hazards, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, lead toolbox talks, ensure PPE compliance, and maintain safety records.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of construction site safety experience.
• Experience in large RCC / infrastructure / STP / WTP / MBR projects will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of work-at-height, scaffolding, lifting, excavation and RCC construction safety.
• Strong communication, site supervision and hazard-identification skills.
• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project HSE procedures and safety standards.

• Monitor safety during heavy reinforcement, RCC, raft, wall, formwork, scaffolding and concreting works.
• Ensure safe execution of crane/lifting operations, material handling, excavation and work at height.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Inductions, JSA/Risk Assessments and safety briefings.
• Ensure proper PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Monitor scaffolding, lifting tools, access platforms and other safety-critical equipment.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain daily safety records, inspection reports and HSE documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, client and consultant teams on safety matters.
