Shitole Infra Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks a Safety Engineer to independently manage site safety activities across fabrication, erection and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, risk assessments and documentation.

You will lead HIRA, JSA, permits, trainings, incident investigations, and client audits, coordinating with site teams to uphold high safety standards. Proactive safety training and strong reporting are essential.

Competenze

• To independently manage all site safety activities, safety documentation, risk assessment, and compliance at fabrication, erection, and infrastructure project sites.
• Knowledge of HIRA, JSA, work permits, and risk assessment.
• Experience in fabrication, steel erection, and infrastructure projects preferred.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and safety report preparation.

• Site Safety Management: Independently handle daily site safety inspections, PPE compliance, housekeeping, barricading, and safe working practices.
• HIRA & Risk Assessment: Prepare and implement HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and risk control measures.
• High-Risk Activities: Monitor working at height, lifting operations, welding, gas cutting, grinding, and steel erection activities.
• Safety Documentation: Maintain daily/weekly/monthly safety reports, inspection checklists, work permits, toolbox talk records, training records, and incident reports.
• Safety Training: Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for workers and supervisors.
• Legal & Client Compliance: Ensure applicable safety requirements are followed and maintain records for client audits and inspections.
• Incident Management: Report and investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Emergency Preparedness: Monitor first-aid facilities, fire safety equipment, emergency procedures, and mock drills.
• Independent Site Handling: Take complete responsibility for site safety, documentation, compliance follow-ups, and regular reporting to project management.

Job Objective
