Job summary

Isgec Hitachi Zosen Limited is seeking a Site Safety Engineer with 7–12 years of EHS experience in EPC/construction projects. The role requires engineering/science qualifications and ADIS/PDIS or equivalent, with knowledge of ISO 45001 and statutory EHS requirements.

The candidate will oversee HIRA, PTW, WAH, lifting and scaffolding safety across project sites in India. The position involves contractor safety management, EHS reporting and audits, with willingness to relocate to project sites

Qualifications

• 7–12 years’ EHS experience in EPC/construction projects.
• Engineering/Science qualification + ADIS/PDIS or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BOCW, ISO 45001 and statutory EHS requirements.
• Hands-on experience in HIRA, PTW, WAH, lifting, scaffolding and incident investigation.
• Experience in contractor safety, audits and EHS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety across EPC/construction projects.
• Lead EHS compliance and audits.
• Manage HIRA, PTW, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate risk assessments and safety training for contractors.
• Relate with site teams to enforce EHS standards.
