Job Description (JD)

Experience

Minimum 5+ years of development and design experience in Java/Scala/Python with Flink, Beam (or Spark Streaming for real-time data, not batch data), and Kafka.

Technical Skills

• Containerization and orchestration (Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes)
• Kafka, Flink, Beam / Kafka streams, Apache Spark or similar streaming technologies
• Public Cloud preferably Azure and OCI
• Linux OS configuration and shell scripting
• Working with streaming data sets at scale
• Public Cloud automation tools
• Understanding of GitOps
• Extensive coding experience in event-driven and streaming architecture
• Design patterns and implementation
• Automated unit and integration testing
• CI/CD principles (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
• Distributed services resiliency and monitoring
• Security practices, policies, and vulnerabilities
• Data sensitivity, encryption, anonymization, and compliance
• Network fundamentals and host-level routing
• Automated testing and security engineering tools
