About the Job:

We are seeking a Java Architect with expertise in high-level and low-level design, application development, and the implementation of Java, J2EE, Spring, Microservices, and Hibernate-based solutions. As a Java Architect, you will be responsible for defining and driving the architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust systems, establish coding standards, and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead high-level and low-level design for complex Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
2. Create detailed technical architecture diagrams and documentation.
3. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
4. Design and implement microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
5. Develop and oversee Java/J2EE-based applications with a focus on modularity and extensibility.
6. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
7. Ensure seamless integration with front-end, third-party systems, and cloud platforms.
8. Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
9. Deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
10. Design, develop, and manage microservices-based architecture.
11. Create and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs.
12. Ensure efficient inter-service communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging queues.
13. Perform API versioning and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
14. Optimize and manage relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
15. Utilize Hibernate/JPA for database access and object-relational mapping.
16. Design and implement data caching strategies using Redis or Ehcache.
17. Ensure smooth integration with cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda, S3, and RDS.
18. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
19. Perform regular code reviews and refactoring to enhance efficiency.
20. Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
21. Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and development teams.
22. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to developers.
23. Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and code reviews.
24. Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

Technical Skills:

1. Strong expertise in Java (J2EE, Java 8+) and Spring Boot framework.
2. Proficiency in high-level and low-level design patterns.
3. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API design.
4. Expertise in Hibernate/JPA for database access and management.
5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
7. Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis, Ehcache) and messaging queues.
8. Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
9. Knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
