Responsibilities

Purpose of the Position

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud applications in the data Integrity domain. You will be deeply involved in designing, developing, and unit testing the applications in our next-generation Data Integrity Suite platform based on k8s. You will work closely with Software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value. You will contribute to the best practices, standards, and technical roadmap.

What you will do

What we are looking for

Technical Skills

• Strong Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals with in-depth knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and Architectural Patterns, with proven ability to apply them effectively.
• Experience with Kafka or any other messaging system (RabbitMQ, etc.). Kafka preferred.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, and building scalable, modern web applications.
• Proficiency in databases: SQL, MySQL, MongoDB. Redis is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, JIRA).
• Familiarity with Git, TDD (Test‑Driven Development), and Linux shell commands.

Cloud & DevOps

• Exposure to cloud‑native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience or understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms is an added advantage.
