Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced RTR Architect to design and implement end-to-end accounting close and reporting solutions compliant with US GAAP, EU IFRS, and local GAAP. You will drive SAP finance transformations including Central Finance and S/4HANA conversions across global teams.

The role requires deep expertise in GL, Asset Accounting, New GL, and multi-currency setups, with leadership in blueprinting, integration, and template rollout for multinational finance transformations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years SAP FI/CO experience with RTR focus.
• Proven RTR delivery for US/EU entities and statutory reporting.
• Strong GL, Asset Accounting, New GL, multi-currency design expertise.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance and consolidation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end RTR solution architecture for GL, Asset Accounting, Financial Close, Intercompany and Group/Statutory Reporting.
• Lead blueprint and fit-gap workshops with US and EU finance stakeholders.
• Define integration architecture between FI/CO and upstream modules and reporting tools.
• Drive global template design and localization for statutory reporting and tax.
• Review functional specs for architecture consistency, auditability and compliance.
• Lead architecture review boards for the finance track and maintain docs.
• Own solution design across full lifecycle for large SAP finance programs.
• Mentor RTR consultants and address complex close/reporting issues.
• Partner with OTC, SCM, and technical architects for integrated solution.

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team as an RTR Architect. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing financial close and reporting solutions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, EU statutory/IFRS, and local GAAP requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving successful SAP finance transformation programs, including Central Finance and S/4HANA conversions.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end RTR solution architecture for General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Financial Close, Intercompany, and Group/Statutory Reporting.
• Lead blueprint and fit-gap workshops with US and EU finance stakeholders, ensuring alignment with GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Define integration architecture between FI/CO and upstream modules, as well as reporting and consolidation tools.
• Drive global template design and localization for statutory reporting, tax compliance, and chart of accounts harmonization.
• Review functional specifications and ensure architectural consistency, auditability, and compliance.
• Lead architecture review boards for the finance track, resolving design conflicts and maintaining documentation.
• Own solution design across the full project lifecycle for large SAP finance transformation programs.
• Mentor RTR functional consultants and provide expertise for complex financial close and reporting issues.
• Partner with OTC, SCM, and technical architects to ensure an integrated financial solution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with a focus on Record-to-Report, including 3-4 full lifecycle implementations as an architect or lead.
• Proven experience delivering RTR solutions for US and EU entities, with knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in General Ledger, Asset Accounting, New GL, financial close, and multi‑currency/multi‑ledger design.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, and consolidation tools like SAP Group Reporting or BPC.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate FI/CO with SD, MM, tax engines, and statutory reporting tools for EU jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to finance leadership across regions.
• Solid understanding of global template design and rollout methodology for multinational finance transformations.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in Big 4 or systems integrator consulting, delivering to large enterprise clients is an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) is advantageous.
