Job summary

Adm Agro Industries is seeking an experienced RTR professional to lead and optimize journal entries, reconciliations, and related processes for the APAC region. The role requires strong US GAAP and Local GAAP knowledge, with ability to explain P&L movements and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations per policy.
• Provide cross-functional analysis and explain P&L movements.
• Ensure US GAAP and Local GAAP compliance for APAC region.
• Coordinate with Tax and statutory COEs for regulatory filings and audits.
• Define controls and maintain process discipline with ADM standards.
• Develop and audit business processes; document with work instructions and DTPs.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate repetitive tasks.
• Drive standardization and simplification of RTR end-to-end processes.
• Collaborate with teams to identify process improvements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other processes performed by the RTR team to ensure these tasks are being done correctly, with proper support and per policy if applicable.
• Understand complex processes within RTR and ability to complete the deliverables within timeline and accurately. Work with cross functional teams to provide necessary analysis and ability to explain PNL movement/ impacts.
• Good understanding of handling US GAAP and Local GAAP for APAC region.
• Act as bridge between Tax and statutory COEs for regulatory filing requirements, including tax audits
• Define, maintain and ensure proper controls are established
• Develop a process to continually audit these processes to ensure adherence to ADM standards on these tasks.
• Create comprehensive work instructions, and DTPs to document business processes accurately.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate highly repetitive tasks based on business priorities.
• Drive standardization and simplification of global RTR end-to-end processes and provide recommendations for ownership and positioning of key processes across RTR
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree in related field such as Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Qualified accountant (CA/ ACCA) is preferred with at least 8 plus years of experience in RTR domain and Agricultural industry experience would be a plus. Should have exposure to GCC environment.
• Worked for APAC countries including ANZ countries
• Ability to work the diverse team, highlight the risk and deliver the goals set.
• Ability to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in the business and technological environment.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization to implement changes.
• Focus on achieving set goals and objectives, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
