Job summary

Adm Agro Industries is seeking an Accounting Process Specialist to join the Record to Report team at ADM Global Capability Center. You will manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations, while maintaining and controlling related documents.

Role includes developing audit processes, creating detailed work instructions, and driving standardization of global RTR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred.
• CA/ CMA/ ACCA qualifications are preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in a GCC environment.
• Experience with APAC, ASEAN and ANZ countries is valuable.
• Ability to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in business and technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the RTR team.
• Develop processes to audit and ensure adherence to ADM standards.
• Create comprehensive work instructions and DTPs documenting business processes.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate repetitive tasks.
• Drive standardization and simplification of end-to-end RTR processes; propose ownership and positioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Process Specialist to join our Record to Report team in ADM Global Capability Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for month end close process including journal entries, accruals, intercompany reconciliation, fixed asset accounting and Balance Sheet reconciliations. This role also involves maintaining, reviewing, and controlling these documents, as well as training and socializing them at various levels of the organization.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other processes preformed by the RTR team to ensure these tasks are being done correctly, with proper support and per policy if applicable.
• Develop a process to continually audit these processes to ensure adherence to ADM standards on these tasks.
• Create comprehensive work instructions, and DTPs to document business processes accurately.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate highly repetitive tasks based on business priorities.
• Drive standardization and simplification of global RTR end-to-end processes and provide recommendations for ownership and positioning of key processes across RTR.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in related field such as Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred.
• CA/ CMA/ ACCA qualifications are preferred .
• Worked for APAC countries specifically ASEAN and ANZ countries
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years in similar roles, preferably in a GCC environment.
• Ability to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in the business and technological environment.
