Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a Staff Engineer NoC design lead to architect and drive advanced interconnects for next-generation SoCs. Lead a multidisciplinary team across IP, SoC and verification to deliver scalable, low-latency and power-efficient interconnects.

The role requires 8+ years in ASIC design, expertise in RTL, micro-architecture, and front-end flows. Collaboration with architects and verification teams is essential, with mentoring responsibilities and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

  • MTech/BTech in EE/CS with 8+ years of ASIC design experience.
  • Strong fundamentals in micro-architecture and RTL design.
  • Exposure to front-end flows (Lint, CDC, low-power checks, Synth).
  • Knowledge of AXI/ACE/CHI/AHB protocols is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in multi clock designs; asynchronous interface is a must.
  • Constraint development and timing closure awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and architect NoC solutions for complex SoCs.
  • Lead a team of NoC designers and ensure designs meet functional, performance and power targets.
  • Collaborate with SoC architects, IP owners, verification and physical design teams.
  • Drive design reviews, performance analysis and optimization efforts.
  • Work with verification to develop test plans and waveform debugging at core, sub-system and SoC levels.
