Synthires is seeking a Hardware Expert (MSc. or PhD) for a remote contractor role. You will craft rigorous hardware engineering problems and provide reproducible reference solutions for AI training projects, leveraging first-principles reasoning and quantitative analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product development, systems integration, reliability, testing, or validation.
• Experience taking hardware products or subsystems into production.
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, Julia, C/C++, or test automation platforms.

Compensation

• $60-$120/hour, with payment based on completed tasks that meet project specifications.
• Expected commitment: approximately 15 hours per week.
