Job summary

BMC Software in Pune is seeking an experienced RPA Developer to design, develop, and implement automation using Power Platform tools (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, AI Builder). You will automate critical business processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, deploying automation, troubleshooting, configuring robotic processes, and mentoring teammates. Proficiency in Python or PowerShell, SQL, APIs, and Git will help accelerate efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing automation solutions using Power Automate.
• End-to-end RPA lifecycle experience focusing on business process efficiency.
• Experience in process assessment, documentation, and analysis.
• Excellent programming skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and APIs is advantageous.

BMC is looking for an experienced RPA Developer to join our amazing team, responsible for driving innovation and efficiency across our business processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that will help automize business processes and workflows. You will use Power Platform tools, ensure seamless integration and support, enhance productivity, and improve process efficiency.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Power Platform components, including Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and AI Builder tools, with a focus on automating business processes and workflows.
• Create comprehensive process and end-user documentation to support automated solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Provide deployment support and troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours, leading efforts in problem determination and resolution.
• Configure robotic processes and objects using core workflow principles to ensure efficiency and maintainability, emphasizing business process automation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess processes for automation opportunities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement in existing automated processes and recommend solutions to drive operational efficiency.
• Share best practices in RPA development and mentor team members in automation strategies.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 5+ years of experience in developing automation solutions using Power Automate.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end RPA lifecycle and experience in producing workflow automation that focuses on business process efficiency, rather than testing automation.
• Experience in process assessment, documentation, and analysis.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and experience with Git for version management is advantageous.
• Experience in developing and consuming APIs based on API documentation.
• Familiarity with Power Platform components (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Pages, AI Builder) and integration with Microsoft Teams.
• Continuous learning mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
