Job summary

Johnson Electric Private Limited in Chennai is seeking an experienced RPA Developer to design, develop and deploy end-to-end automation using UiPath. You will lead design discussions, estimate effort, and mentor junior developers.

Required are 5–8 years of experience, REFramework proficiency, and strong API/Database automation skills. Ongoing work includes Orchestrator monitoring and integration with Power Automate where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ UiPath projects delivered individually in the last 6 months.
• At least 1 project with Document Understanding / AI Center experience.
• Proficient in REFramework, State Machines, custom libraries.
• Strong in API and Database automation; experience with Orchestrator monitoring.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Experience: 5-8 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently design, develop, and deploy end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath following best practices and REFramework.
• Lead solution design discussions, perform effort estimation, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Create PDD/SDD documents, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Develop and integrate Document Understanding workflows, AI Center models, and OCR-driven automations.
• Automate business processes involving Excel, Outlook, SAP, Web and Windows apps, Databases, and APIs.
• Manage UiPath Orchestrator – including job scheduling, queue/asset management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Provide production support and enhancements for existing bots.
• Good understanding or hands‑on with Power Automate (Cloud/Desktop) is a plus.
• Contribute to the RPA COE by sharing best practices, reusable components, and innovations.
• Leverage Agentic Automation and explore ways to integrate AI-driven decision-making capabilities into RPA workflows, moving toward Autonomous Process Automation (APA).

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 3+ UiPath projects delivered individually in the last 6 months

• Experienced in Orchestrator Monitoring, queue-based processing, exception handling
• Knowledge in Regex, Excel, Mail, and OCR automation
• Knowledge in SQL, SAP, and Oracle ERP automations
• Basic exposure or learning interest in Agentic AI-based automation
• Strong business communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT with a good academic record
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (preferred)
