Job summary

Birlasoft in Noida is seeking an RPA and Appian QA Tester Technical Specialist-App Development to join our QA team. You will perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Appian applications and RPA solutions, with a focus on quality and release readiness.

The role requires hands-on testing of UiPath or similar automation platforms, strong SQL/data validation skills, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and test management tools in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related testing roles.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance methodologies, and testing best practices.
• Hands-on testing of Appian applications, BPM platforms, or workflow-based solutions.
• Experience validating Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath or similar automation platforms.
• Ability to perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, batch integrations, and enterprise application testing.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Test Manager, or similar test management tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks is preferred.
• Experience within insurance or other regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate Appian applications and RPA solutions (UiPath or similar).
• Coordinate with development and business teams to ensure quality releases.
• Use SQL for data validation and test data preparation.
• Familiarize with APIs, web services and batch integrations during testing.
• Utilize test management tools in an Agile/scrum environment.
