Job summary

BirlaSoft in Noida, India, is seeking a qualified RPA and Appian QA Tester Technical Specialist for App Development. You will perform end-to-end testing of Appian BPM solutions, validate RPA outcomes with UiPath, and ensure data integrity using SQL within an Agile team.

Experience: 4-6 years in testing; familiarity with APIs, web services, and test management tools like Azure DevOps/Jira is preferred. Insurance/regulatory domain exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Area(s) of responsibility

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related testing roles.


• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance methodologies, and testing best practices.


• Hands-on testing of Appian applications, business process management (BPM) platforms, or workflow-based solutions.


• Experience validating Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath or similar automation platforms.


• Ability to perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.


• Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.


• Familiarity with APIs, web services, batch integrations, and enterprise application testing.


• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Test Manager, or similar test management tools.


• Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.


• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks is preferred.


• Experience within insurance or other regulated industries is preferred. .
