Job summary

AP Management Consultants in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu invites a skilled robot welding operator to join our production team. You will operate robotic welding machines, load components, set fixtures, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.

You will read drawings and weld symbols, adjust robot paths, inspect welds with gauges, maintain production records, and coordinate with Quality and Maintenance to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding machines safely as per SOPs.
• Load/unload components and set fixtures.
• Set welding programs and machine parameters.
• Inspect weld quality using gauges and visual checks.
• Adjust robot paths and welding parameters when required.
• Troubleshoot basic robot alarms and welding issues.
• Replace contact tips, nozzles, and wire spools.
• Read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and Tekla models.
• Maintain production and quality records in MES.
• Follow 5S, TPM, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance.
