2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks skilled Road Construction Operatives to join our team in Malta.

You will participate in construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of roads and other civil infrastructure, coordinating with operators, drivers, and site supervisors to meet safety and quality standards. The role requires a minimum of two years in road construction or related fields, physical fitness for outdoor work, and basic English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in road construction, civil engineering, or general construction.
• Experience in road construction, resurfacing, asphalt works, paving, kerb laying, drainage works, or similar civil works.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safe working practices.
• Must be physically fit and willing to carry out manual work related to the assigned job.
• Basic understanding of spoken and written English.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out road construction, maintenance, resurfacing, and rehabilitation works.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting out work areas, and installing traffic management measures where required.
• Perform manual excavation, backfilling, levelling, and compaction of materials.
• Lay asphalt, concrete, kerbstones, paving blocks, and other road construction materials.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the site.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out drainage works and install road signage, barriers, kerbs, and related infrastructure as instructed.
• Work effectively alongside Heavy Equipment Operators and Heavy Truck Drivers during construction activities.
• Follow instructions from Site Supervisors and Engineers to ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
