Role & responsibilities

Role Summary

The Relationship Manager (RM) drives end-to-end sales of Loan Against Property (LAP) for individual borrowers (salaried, professionals, self-employed with residential/commercial collateral). This role sources high-quality leads, structures deals (20 lakh - 5 Cr tickets), and ensures smooth processing while achieving monthly disbursement targets and low delinquency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Sourcing: Generate 50-100 qualified leads monthly via DSA networks, bank referrals, real estate agents, and field marketing. Target HNI individuals, doctors, CAs, and small business owners needing funds for business expansion, debt consolidation, or personal needs.
• Client Relationship Management: Conduct home/office visits; assess financials (ITR, bank statements, CIBIL 700+). Present LAP products . Overcome objections and close 20-25% of proposals.
• Credit & Documentation: Prepare detailed credit memos; coordinate property valuation (empanelled valuers), legal verification, and technical assessment. Ensure 100% KYC/RBI compliance and end-to-end case tracking via CRM.
• Cross-Sell & Portfolio Quality: Promote add-ons (insurance, current accounts). Monitor post-disbursal (infant delinquency 2%); resolve early payment issues. Achieve 90%+ renewal rate for existing clients.
• Reporting & Reviews: Update daily pipeline in CRM; submit weekly reports on ALR (Average Loan Rate), conversion ratio, and catchment analysis. Attend branch sales meetings.
• DSA/Channel Management: Activate and incentivize 10-20 DSAs; run builder tie-ups for primary market leads.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate (B.Com/MBA Finance preferred).
• Experience: 2-5 years in LAP/Home Loan sales (banks/NBFCs like HDFC, Bajaj Housing, PNB Housing). Proven track record of 20-50 Cr annual disbursals.
• Skills: Strong Excel/CRM proficiency; property/legal knowledge; .Driving license mandatory (50% field travel).
