Wego Consultants in Mysuru, India seeks a Business Development & Sales professional to drive credit life insurance business through lending partners. You will manage branch relationships, train partner staff and generate business from loan customers while ensuring high quality and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

To drive credit life insurance business through assigned lending partners (banks/NBFCs/HFCs) by managing branch relationships, training partner staff, and generating business from loan customers while ensuring high quality and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Business Development & Sales

• Achieve monthly and annual credit life sales targets from assigned partner branches / regions.


• Drive penetration of credit life across various loan products (home, LAP, vehicle, personal, business loans) of the partner.


• Generate leads from loan files, conduct joint calls with branch/credit/sales teams and close sales with loan customers.

Partner Relationship Management

• Act as the single point of contact for partners cluster/branches for all credit life matters.


• Build and nurture strong relationships with branch managers, credit managers, sales managers, DSAs and other key stakeholders of the partner.


• Conduct regular branch visits, review meetings and joint business planning with partner teams to increase product uptake.

Training & Enablement

• Train partner branch staff, credit teams and DSAs on credit life concepts, product features, needbased selling, objection handling and process.


• Ensure new joiners in the partner branch network are inducted on credit life products and sales process.


• Drive activity such as customer meets, product campaigns and inbranch promotions (standees, posters, digital displays).

Process Management & Issuance Quality

• Ensure complete and accurate documentation, timely login and issuance of loggedin business in coordination with operations and underwriting.


• Work with partner ops/credit teams to minimize discrepancies, pendencies and policy cancellations.


• Track proposals through the lifecycle and ensure communication to partner branches and customers on status, requirements and issuance.
