Job summary

ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Risk Management professional to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks affecting organizational objectives. You will help in spreading a risk culture, enabling informed decision making and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on monitoring ERM/ORM frameworks, managing risk dashboards, and coordinating with HODs for timely risk mitigation actions. Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management and Investment Mid Office within insurance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, agile and ethical with a strong sense of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor implementation of the ERM and ORM risk framework.
• Prepare risk reports and manage risk dashboards.
• Coordinate with Risk Champions / HODs for action plans and mitigations.
• Report operations losses with root cause analysis and action plans.
• Identify key risk management projects and drive automation.
• Ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.

Job description

Individual in this role will help to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks that may impact the organization’s objectives, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and business continuity. They will help in spreading the culture of Risk across the organization thus ensuring early identification & enable informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Monitor Implementation of existing ERM and ORM Risk framework.
• Risk Reporting & Management of Risk Dashboards.
• Coordinate with all Risk Champions / HODs for periodic review of Risk Control sheets and chalk down a clear plan of action for risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with HODs for timely reporting of Operations Losses and have a root cause analysis and plan of action in place.
• Identify and work on key projects for Risk Management.
• Explore areas of automation for key Department deliverables.
• Monitor regulatory & internal limits of financial holdings & ensure all regulatory reporting
• Master Authorizations, credit reviews and market view of instruments Develop dashboards and MIS reports.
• Drive automation in risk reporting.
• Perform data-driven analysis.

Skills

• Domain Expertise in the Insurance Industry with at least three Years of relevant experience in Risk Management and Investment Mid Office.
• Sound understanding of Regulatory and Compliance guidelines.
• In-depth Understanding of Industry risk management practices.
• Sound Analytical skills.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office tools with proficiency in making presentations and working on complex excel data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge / experience in BCP will be an added advantage.
