Job summary

JPMorganChase in Bengaluru is seeking an RM&C CDO Analyst to support the Risk Management & Compliance Lead in implementing the Data Quality Framework and overseeing data management initiatives. The role requires collaboration across Risk Management & Compliance with business partners to deliver on BAU activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years in finance or risk, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of Banking products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist RM&C Lead in implementing and maintaining Data Quality Framework.
  • Monitor progress against goals and milestones.
  • Contribute to development and monitoring of project plans.
  • Support RM&C CDO communication strategy.
  • Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalate risks as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to team and leadership.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies affecting execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with RM&C CDO stakeholders across Business and Technology.
  • Identify, evaluate and drive operational improvements for RM&C CDO team.
  • Develop and maintain process and control documentation.

RM&C CDO Analyst

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in our team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view. As an RM&C CDO Analyst within the RM&C CDO team, you assist the Risk Management & Compliance Lead in implementing and maintaining the Data Quality Framework The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various functions across Risk Management & Compliance overseeing delivery of Firm wide Data Management and RM&C CDO initiatives coupled with standard BAU activities. This is a high impact role that will require an ability to leverage Risk Management experience, multitask and deliver simultaneously on various initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist Risk Management & Compliance Lead in implementing and maintaining Data Quality Framework.
  • Monitor progress against established goals and milestones.
  • Contribute to the development, management and monitoring of project plans.
  • Support RM&C CDO communication strategy.
  • Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates risks/issues to leadership as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and updates to the team, leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalation risks, issues and dependencies impacting project execution.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with RM&C CDO stakeholders, which include Risk Management, Business Process Owners, Data Providers, Data Owners, Data Quality Managers, Control Managers; other CDOs and key data-related roles across Business and Technology to facilitate effective communication.
  • Identify, evaluate and drive operational improvements across RM&C CDO team.
  • Develop and maintain process and control documentation (e.g., standard operating procedures, process flows, data flows).
  • Actively participate and contribute to working groups and forums.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required with 1+ years of demonstrated experience in one of the following areas – Finance, Risk Controller, Internal/External Reporting, Business Analysis, Data Governance, Project Management.
  • Strong Financial Acumen and knowledge of Banking and Investment Products - Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel.
  • Excellent RM&C written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective change management skills - ability to support & adapt within a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective credible relationships with business and technology partners.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

Experience with Risk management related applications/tools;

Conceptual understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL would be advantageous.

Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView, Alteryx is useful.

Familiar with PowerPoint basics and storytelling.

Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard.
