Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior - Product Analyst in Risk Intelligence Analytics in India. The role focuses on translating business requirements into precise product features, analytics and risk controls, leveraging SQL and Python for data profiling and validation.

You will partner with UX, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine backlogs, support sprint planning, and ensure traceability from requirements to features and controls across key domains.

Qualifications

• Strong product/BA experience with advanced SQL and data analytics.
• Hands-on QA, test execution, and data reconciliation experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and concise documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis and prototyping.
• Experience with AI/analytics capabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Use SQL for data profiling, reconciliation, exception analysis and validation of analytical outputs.
• Define test scenarios, perform data and functional quality checks, manage defects and support UAT.
• Partner with UX, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine features and prioritize backlogs.
• Maintain traceability across domains and support analytics from discovery to release.

Senior - Product Analyst - Risk Intelligence Analytics

Senior | Experience: 4-7 years

Support product analysis and delivery for analytics-driven risk, controls and enterprise-process solutions. Translate business requirements into clear product features, analytical logic and testable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Use SQL for data profiling, reconciliation, exception analysis and validation of analytical outputs.
• Define test scenarios, perform data and functional quality checks, manage defects and support UAT.
• Partner with UX, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine feature requirements, prioritize backlogs, and support sprint planning activities.
• Maintain requirement-to-feature and KRI/control traceability across all applicable domains.
• Support analytics, automation and AI-enabled product capabilities from discovery through release.

Critical Skills And Experience

• Strong product analyst or business analyst experience with advanced SQL.
• Hands-on quality assurance, test execution, defect triage and data reconciliation experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and concise documentation skills.
• Python knowledge for data analysis, validation and prototyping.
• At least one hard tech skill: Python, Databricks, full stack development or AI.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business, risk and control implications.

Critical Domain Expertise

• NON-NEGOTIABLE: Demonstrated working expertise across following areas: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Travel & Expense (T&E), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and ITOC / SOX IT controls.

Preferred

• Risk and controls or Internal Audit experience.
• Exposure to SAP, Oracle, expense platforms, GRC tools or enterprise data environments.
