Job summary

EY in India is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive end-to-end process mining, data engineering, and analytics across P2P, O2C, AP/AR, logistics and operations.

You will build data models, pipelines, dashboards with SQL/Python, and apply low-code analytics and AI use cases to enable scalable insights and decision making.

Collaborate with finance, IT, and operations to deliver timely analytics and support digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Business process Mining, task mining.
• Experience developing data pipelines, SQL, Python, and ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance process and task mining data models using Celonis, Signavio, MPM/MPMx, including case creation, event logs, activity mapping, conformance checks, and KPI modelling.
• Design, transform, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Python, ETL tools (Alteryx, Knime), SAP data modelling.
• Develop front-end process dashboards to track metrics like cycle time, rework, GRN delays, invoice mismatches, AR aging, DSO, delivery delays.
• Support process optimization via root-cause analysis, bottleneck identification, and corrective actions.
• Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to track process metrics and SLA adherence.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation (RPA/AI) from mining outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive analytics deliverables.
• Contribute to digital transformation and process intelligence initiatives through data-driven insights.

Role Summary

The Senior Analyst will support end-to-end process mining, ETL/data engineering, dashboarding, and process optimization initiatives across P2P, O2C, AP/AR, logistics, and operational processes. The role also expands to supporting analytics using low-code platforms and data visualization to enable scalable insights and performance tracking, while also contributing to predictive analytics and AI-driven use cases for advanced process insights and decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance process and task mining data models using Celonis, SAP Signavio, MPM/MPMx, including case creation, event logs, activity mapping, conformance checks, and KPI modelling.
• Design, transform, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Python, ETL (Alteryx, Knime), SAP B1/SAP ECC).
• Develop front‑end process dashboards to track metrics such as cycle time, rework, GRN delays, invoice mismatches, AR aging, DSO, delivery delays etc.
• Support process optimization initiatives by conducting root‑cause analysis, identifying bottlenecks/sources of inefficiency, and recommending corrective actions.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to track process metrics such as cycle time, rework, delays, aging, and SLA adherence
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation (RPA/AI-enabled) based on mining and analytics outputs
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (finance, supply chain, IT, operations) to drive timely completion of analytics deliverables.
• Contribute to digital transformation and process intelligence initiatives through data-driven insights

Required Skills & Tools

• Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
• Automation: Exposure to RPA tools (UI Path, Automation Anywhere), ML-assisted solutions
• Process Documentation: BPMN, Visio, ARIS
• Domain Knowledge: P2P, O2C, AR/AP, logistics, telecom services, vendor management, ITSM
• Strong understanding of event logs, process models, conformance analysis, and KPI design

Preferred Experience

• Experience in process mining and task mining implementations or analytics projects
• Experience developing dashboards and process performance reporting solutions
• Exposure to low-code analytics platforms for workflow development and data preparation
• Basic exposure to predictive analytics / AI use cases in business processes
• Internal Audit and Risk experience is highly preferred.
