Job summary

Abacus Consultants seeks a professional to drive growth in Education Loans by implementing policy and a robust credit decisioning framework. The role focuses on improving efficiency, collaborating with internal teams, and strengthening governance and risk controls.

You will monitor delinquency indicators and book growth while ensuring risk triggers remain within benchmarks, and work to reduce related costs while building a high-quality portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Book Growth by implementing new Education Loan policy and credit decisioning framework.
• Recommend process changes to improve efficiency and quality in the assigned area.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage in-house synergies.
• Monitor Portfolio Risk Performance (Early Delinquency, NCL) and Book Growth (EOP).
• Ensure adherence to governance and control framework.
• Identify and reduce risk-related costs.
• Build quality portfolio with risk triggers within benchmark.
