Job summary

Abacus Consultants in Chennai area is seeking to strengthen its education loan operations by deploying a new policy and a robust credit decisioning framework. The role focuses on driving book growth while keeping risk under control and ensuring governance across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure that all risk triggers are within benchmark for a high-quality portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Book Growth by implementing new Education Loan policy and credit decisioning framework.
• Recommend process changes to improve efficiency and quality across the assigned area.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage in-house synergies.
• Monitor Portfolio Risk Performance (Early Delinquency, NCL), Book Growth (EOP), Governance and Control (No adverse remark in Audits).
• Adhere to governance and control framework.
• Reduce Risk Related costs.
• Build quality portfolio with all risk triggers within benchmark.
