Job summary

Adecco client company in Pune seeks an experienced subsea engineer with 5–15 years in oil & gas/ocean engineering to lead design, FEED and SURF packages. You will apply hydrodynamics, RISER/UMBILICAL design, and interface with subsea equipment to deliver robust offshore solutions.

Responsibilities include numerical modelling with OrcaFlex/DeepLines/Diodore, client interfaces, and supervision of engineers and draftsmen. Extensive experience and adherence to industry codes are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas/ocean engineering (5–15 years).
• Experience in design and FEED studies for subsea projects.
• Familiarity with standards such as API, ABS, DNV, BV for pipelines and risers.

The candidate would be required to take up the following activities:

• Design and FEED studies
• SURF detailed engineering packages
• Expertise in hydrodynamics, vortex induced vibrations, structure in any type of riser/umbilical systems
• Interface with subsea equipment

Expertise and analysis for installation of pipelines, risers/umbilicals

anKEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT

Work in accordance with Company HSE, Quality Standards, Regulations and deliveries in expected quality.

Be responsible for the technical execution of her/his professional area. This includes participation in conceptualization, design, implementation, procurement, and testing phase of the projects.

Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations:

• Numerical modelling of subsea structures based on hydrodynamic software (OrcaFlex, DeepLines, Diodore)
• Subsea riser and umbilical design based on oil & gas standards: API, ABS, DNV, BV, etc.
• Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports
• Ensure interface with the client
• Supervise and coordinate engineers and draftsmend subsea equipment
• Research and development projects and JIPs
