Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Staff Engineer in Bangalore to verify high-performance CPU cores, including RISC-V based designs. You will develop verification plans and create testbenches using C/C++, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and scripting tools.

Collaboration with SoC, design, and software teams is essential. The role requires 8+ years of hardware verification experience, with strong expertise in CPU architectures and power-management features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field with 4+ years of hardware engineering experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience verifying CPU architecture and micro-architecture using simulation and formal methods.
• Strong knowledge of CPU design concepts and verification techniques including DFT/Power management features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for CPU units and features.
• Use simulation and formal verification to implement testbenches, checkers and assertions.
• Collaborate with system architects, design, software and SoC teams to validate use cases.
• Work with emulation and FPGA teams to enable verification on hardware platforms.
• Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation and silicon.
