Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Principal Manager/Engineer to lead RISC-V CPU design verification. You will create verification strategies, run simulations and build robust test benches for high‑performance CPU cores, collaborating with architects, software and EMU teams as well as FPGA platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in hardware verification, strong C/C++ and HDL skills, and hands-on power management feature experience.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in CS/EE with 4+ years’ experience in hardware engineering or verification.
• Experience in verifying CPU architectures and CPU micro-architectures.
• Knowledge of verification methods including simulation, formal verification, and testbench development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for units and features of a CPU design.
• Use simulation and formal verification methodologies to execute test plans, develop testbench components like checkers, assertions, stimulus generators.
• Work closely with system architects, design team, software teams and Soc team to validate system use cases.
• Work closely with emulation team to enable verification on emulators and FPGA platforms.
• Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation and/or Silicon.
• Implement assembly and C language tests for verifying CPU architecture.
