Job summary

Bondada Group seeks a field telecom technician to install and secure telecommunications equipment across multiple Hyderabad locations, including Hyd-2 (BL Nagar), Hyd-4 (Mehdipatnam), Hyd-1 (LB Nagar) and others. This full-time role focuses on hands-on installation, maintenance, and on-site problem solving.

You will work with engineers and technicians to plan upgrades, troubleshoot outages, replace damaged cables, ensure safety at heights, and manage cables to meet standards.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and stamina to work at heights and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications equipment installation and cable termination.
• Safety certifications and willingness to undergo height safety training.

Responsibilities

• Install and secure telecommunications equipment, including routers, antennas, radios, and cables at various sites.
• Identify causes of site outages, troubleshoot, restore signal and verify link integrity.
• Replace faulty or damaged cables and equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment and reliable network.
• Terminate and test cables to meet standards and safety guidelines.
• Safely move heavy components using proper lifting methods.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct routine gear inspections at heights.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to plan upgrades and installations.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and Mounting: Install and secure telecommunications equipment, including routers, antennas, radios, and cables on various structures.
• Site outages: Identify the cause,Troubleshoot, restoration of site and verify the line of signal link.
• Replacement: Replace the faulty and damaged cables and equipment.
• Maintenance and Repair: Conduct ongoing maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment functions optimally and the network remains reliable.
• Cable Management: Terminate and test telecommunications cables to verify they meet compliance standards.
• Equipment Handling: Utilise appropriate methods to lifting equipment to safely move and position heavy components.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, conduct routine gear inspections, and ensure a safe working environment at heights.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers and technicians to plan and execute network infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and installations.
