Job summary

Onward Technologies Ltd. Confidential is seeking an experienced Revit Draftsman in Mechanical/MEP for our Pune site. The role requires 5–10 years of experience in creating and managing 2D/3D drawings and BIM models with Autodesk Revit for MEP systems.

You will develop detailed 3D models, coordinate with disciplines, and ensure documentation meets project standards. Relevant pharma, food & beverages, or commercial facility experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting/ MEP engineering.
• Experience with industrial, healthcare/pharma, food & beverages manufacturing, or commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare mechanical/MEP layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Create and modify HVAC, piping, equipment layout, and ducting layouts.
• Coordinate Revit models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Identify and resolve model clashes and design inconsistencies.
• Prepare piping, ducting, equipment, electrical, cable tray, plumbing, and utility layouts.
• Prepare equipment schedules, material schedules, BOMs, and drawing documentation.
• Incorporate engineering changes and maintain drawing/model revisions.
• Support design engineers in preparing manufacturing and installation documentation.
• Ensure drawings/models comply with project standards, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings with internal and customer teams.
• Maintain proper drawing/model version control and documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Revit Draftsman – Mechanical/MEP with 5–10years of experience in preparing and managing detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings and BIM models. The candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with Autodesk Revit and be capable of working with mechanical systems, equipment layouts, SS piping, HVAC, Valves & working with MEP engineering companies, Pharma, Food & Beverages or similar engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Autodesk Revit – MEP/Mechanical.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, equipment layout, and MEP systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, engineering specifications, layouts, and equipment drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deliverables.

Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting/ MEP engineering.
• Experience working on industrial, healthcare/ Pharma, Food & Beverages manufacturing, or commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and detailing.
• Experience working with international customers/projects.
