Job summary

Jobitus in Pune is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 1-4 years experience to work on BIM-enabled MEP projects. You will develop 3D Revit models for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate layouts with architectural and structural models.

You will perform clash detection with Navisworks, generate reports, prepare drawings and schedules, and contribute to BEP/LOD compliance. Salary up to 4.80 LPA and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models in Revit for HVAC ducting, plumbing, and electrical containment.
• Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural models as per BIM standards, BEP and LOD requirements.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage and resolve coordination issues.
• Generate clash reports, participate in coordination meetings and track clash resolution.
• Extract Revit schedules, quantity take-offs, BOQs, material take-offs and equipment lists.
• Prepare construction drawings, sections, isometric drawings and shop drawings.
• Create parametric Revit families for AHUs, FCUs, pumps, diffusers, valves, plumbing fixtures and firefighting components.
• Maintain Revit family libraries and ensure compliance with company BIM standards.
• Perform HVAC load calculations using HAP or equivalent software.
• Size HVAC ducts and chilled water piping as per project requirements.
• Support technical submittals, equipment selection and technical comparison sheets.
• Assist site teams with installation drawings, routing clarifications and BOQ validation.
• Update BIM models based on site changes and prepare as-built models
