Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models using Revit MEP.

• Prepare lighting, small power, and electrical distribution layouts.
• Develop earthing, bonding, and lightning protection layouts.
• Create and manage Revit families and project standards.
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Prepare IFC, IFA, IFR, and construction issue drawings.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Piping, and Instrumentation disciplines.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer (Revit MEP) with 3 to 9 years of experience in industrial projects such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Refinery, Power, and Heavy Industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands‑on expertise in Revit MEP (Electrical) and AutoCAD, with the ability to develop accurate electrical BIM models and engineering drawings. Experience in Navisworks, BIM coordination, and multidisciplinary project environments will be an added advantage.

The candidate should have sound knowledge of electrical systems including equipment layouts, cable trays, conduits, lighting, small power systems, earthing, and electrical design documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models using Revit MEP.
• Model electrical equipment, substations, and associated systems.
• Design and route cable trays, conduits, and electrical cabling systems.
• Prepare lighting, small power, and electrical distribution layouts.
• Develop earthing, bonding, and lightning protection layouts.
• Create and manage Revit families and project standards.
• Perform model coordination and clash detection activities using Navisworks.
• Prepare IFC, IFA, IFR, and construction issue drawings.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Piping, and Instrumentation disciplines.
• Generate quantity take-offs and model-based documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and project-specific requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and design reviews.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Industrial Plant Engineering projects.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Ability to identify project changes and incorporate them into design deliverables.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, LOD requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, project‑oriented environment.
