Job summary

The Consultant in Karnal (Taraori area) seeks a Revit Designer (Plumbing) to build 3D BIM models for plumbing systems and produce precise construction drawings for drainage, water supply, rainwater harvesting, and fire protection.

You will work with MEP engineers to ensure accuracy, coordination, and compliance with local codes, IPC/UPC standards, and BIM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of plumbing pipe sizing, slope requirements, fixture schedules, and pump room/plant layouts.
• 2–5+ years of BIM plumbing design experience for commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Plumbing Engineering or relevant BIM certification.

Responsibilities

• 3D BIM Modeling: Create detailed RevIt models for plumbing systems.
• Drawing Production: Generate MEP construction drawings, riser diagrams and shop drawings.
• Clash Detection & Coordination: Perform clash detection and coordinate layouts with other models.
• Quantity Takeoffs: Extract material schedules, pipe lengths, and fixture counts from the model.
• Code & Standards Compliance: Ensure modeling aligns with local plumbing codes and BIM standards.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Revit Designer (Plumbing) to create detailed 3D BIM models, schematic layouts, and production/construction drawings for building plumbing systems (drainage, domestic water supply, rainwater harvesting, and fire protection). The ideal candidate will work closely with MEP engineers to ensure design accuracy, spatial coordination, and compliance with local building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D BIM Modeling: Create detailed Revit models for cold/hot water piping, sanitary drainage, vent systems, stormwater, and plumbing equipment.
• Drawing Production: Generate accurate MEP construction drawings, pipe schematics, riser diagrams, and shop drawings from engineering roughs.
• Clash Detection & Coordination: Perform clash detection using Navisworks/Revit and coordinate piping layouts with Architectural, Structural, and HVAC discipline models.
• Quantity Takeoffs: Extract material schedules, pipe lengths, and fixture counts directly from the Revit model.
• Code & Standards Compliance: Ensure all modeling aligns with relevant local plumbing codes, IPC/UPC standards, and company BIM standards.

Key Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
