Job summary

BIMQP is seeking a talented MEP BIM Modeler to develop, coordinate, and maintain high-quality BIMs for MEP systems across diverse projects. You will work closely with engineers, BIM Coordinators, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely project delivery.

The role emphasizes Revit MEP proficiency, clash resolution, and adherence to BIM standards, with opportunities to contribute to cross-functional teams on exciting local and international projects.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in MEP Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Understanding of Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction docs.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for MEP using Revit.
• Produce MEP layouts, shop drawings, installation drawings, and docs.
• Coordinate MEP with Architecture and Structure to resolve clashes.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement updates.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BIM standards and client requirements.
• Generate schedules, quantities, sections, and construction drawings.
• Support clash detection and coordination with Navisworks.
• Maintain model accuracy and LOD throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver BIM outputs on time.
• Assist in resolving design and coordination issues.
• Manage revisions and documentation control for BIM deliverables.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented MEP BIM Modeler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining high-quality Building Information Models (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across various construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, BIM Coordinators, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce accurate MEP layouts, shop drawings, installation drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate MEP models with Architectural, Structural, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement design updates as required.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards, client requirements, and company procedures.
• Generate schedules, quantities, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings from BIM models.
• Support clash detection and coordination activities using Navisworks.
• Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver BIM outputs within project timelines.
• Assist BIM Coordinators and Engineers in resolving design and coordination issues.
• Manage revisions, updates, and documentation control for BIM deliverables.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in MEP BIM Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Understanding of Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and industry best practices.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related Engineering discipline.
