Job summary

Axium Global is seeking a Retail Design and Documentation Architect to manage asset information for retail stores, update AutoCAD drawings, and coordinate with design, facilities and project teams in Mumbai and across locations.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stores while ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, CAD documentation, retail design, facilities management or a similar environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, MEP and retail store drawings.
• Strong coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update retail store asset registers and databases.
• Review and update AutoCAD floor plans, layouts, equipment drawings and asset locations.
• Coordinate with design, facilities, maintenance and client teams to collect and validate asset information.
• Update drawings based on site surveys, markups and as-built information.
• Maintain revision control and ensure latest drawings and asset information are available.

Job Description

Looking for anexperienced Retail Design & Documentation Architect tosupport the management, documentation and maintenance of assetinformation for retail stores. The candidate will be responsiblefor maintaining accurate asset records, updating AutoCADdrawings and layouts, coordinating asset information withdesign, facilities and project teams and ensuring that assetdata is complete, accurate and up to date.

The ideal candidateshould have strong AutoCAD skills, excellent communication andcoordination abilities, good attention to detail and anunderstanding of retail store layouts, equipment, fixtures, MEPservices and facility assets.

Key Roles andResponsibilities:

• Maintain andupdate retail store asset registers and databases.
  
• Review and updateAutoCAD floor plans, layouts, equipment drawings and assetlocations.
  
• Identify and documentHVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire & life-safety,refrigeration, retail fixture, furniture,
  
• IT/low-voltage andother store assets.
  
• Ensure assetinformation is correctly linked to location, drawing, assetID, manufacturer, model, serial number,installationdate, warranty and maintenance information.
  
• Review drawings andsite information to identify discrepancies between existingconditions and documentedinformation.
  
• Coordinate withdesign, construction, facilities, maintenance and client teamsto collect and validate asset information.
  
• Update drawings basedon site surveys, markups, redlines and as-builtinformation.

Qualifications andExperience Required:

• Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering,Construction, Facilities Management or a relatedfield.
