Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize competing assignments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; previous experience with conflict resolution preferred.
  • Understanding of project economics such as budgeting, leverage ratios and profitability.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, apply tact and discretion in sensitive situations.
  • Effective communication across various levels and ability to deliver difficult messages.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically assign staff to projects based on client needs and development.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and escalate as necessary.
  • Collaborate with client service teams to improve utilization by filling open time and anticipating availability.
  • Act as change agent for scheduling process and continually recommend improvements.
  • Develop relationships with staff to align goals with engagements.
  • Communicate and collaborate across locations to share staff resources and best practices.
  • Compile and analyze reports such as scheduled hours vs budget, utilization, and projections.
  • Identify trends in talent management and training needs to increase staff effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to address performance issues and career development.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement and lead at all levels.
  • Plan and implement people strategies that align with business objectives.
