Job Description

The Resident will attend emergency patients, assess critical conditions, support stabilization, coordinate urgent investigations, and assist consultants during emergency care. The requires quick response, clinical judgment, documentation discipline, and coordination with ICU, OT, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, and ambulance teams.

• Attend emergency patients and support triage, assessment, and stabilization.
• Manage trauma, acute illness, cardiac, respiratory, and critical emergency cases.
• Assist in CPR, resuscitation, airway support, emergency procedures, and urgent treatment.
• Monitor vitals, ECG, oxygenation, lab reports, imaging findings, and patient response.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, and ambulance teams.
• Maintain emergency records, prescriptions, consent forms, and handover documentation.
• Escalate critical cases and abnormal reports to consultants immediately.
• Support admission, referral, transfer, and emergency patient movement.
• Follow ACLS, emergency protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Deliver fast, safe, and ethical emergency medical support.
