Job description

The Resident will assist consultants and medical teams in managing OPD, IPD, ward, and emergency patients. The candidate will review patient history, monitor vitals, check reports, document progress, and coordinate with nurses, diagnostics, pharmacy, and billing teams to ensure organized medical service delivery.

• Attend ward, OPD, IPD, emergency, and assigned clinical patients.
• Take patient history, monitor vitals, and assist with clinical examination.
• Assist consultants during rounds, admissions, transfers, procedures, and discharges.
• Review investigation reports and report abnormal findings to seniors.
• Maintain progress notes, prescriptions, case sheets, and handover records.
• Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, ICU, OT, and billing teams.
• Respond to patient complaints or emergency calls promptly.
• Support admission, discharge, referral, and clinical movement.
• Counsel patients and attendants under senior guidance.
• Follow clinical protocols, infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.
