KR Mangalam University seeks an accomplished Research Track Faculty to lead high-impact research across Computer Science, Management, Commerce, Pharmacy, Law, and Architecture & Design. The role emphasizes publishing in top journals, securing grants, mentoring scholars, and a reduced teaching load.

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D., have a strong publication record (15+ in the last year), an h-index of 5+, and proven ability to secure external funding.

Formación

• Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Minimum 35 research publications in Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC A*/A journals in the last 3 years.
• Minimum h-index of 5+ (Google Scholar or Scopus).
• Demonstrated ability to secure external research grants (preferred).
• Experience in Ph.D. supervision or guiding research projects.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct high-quality research in the relevant discipline.
• Publish in Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC A*/A listed journals (Minimum: 15 publications in the last 1 year).
• Maintain a minimum h-index of 5+ (Google Scholar or Scopus).
• Present research at high-impact international conferences.
• Secure external research grants from government and private funding agencies (preference given to candidates with a history of securing grants).
• Lead interdisciplinary research projects and industry-sponsored studies.
• Establish partnerships with leading universities, industries, and research organizations.
• Supervise Ph.D., masters, and undergraduate research projects.
• Mentor students for research competitions, patents, and publications.
• Teach two courses per semester (reduced load to focus on research).
• Integrate research-based learning into academic programs.
• Contribute to accreditation, research policy, and academic committees.

Job Purpose

The Research Track Faculty role is designed for individuals with a strong research focus. The primary responsibilities include conducting high-impact research, publishing in indexed journals, securing research grants, and mentoring research scholars, with a reduced teaching load.

We need to look for RTF in the area of Computer Science -SOET, Management and Commerce-SOMC, Pharmacy- SMAS, Law- SOLS, Architecture & Design- SOAD.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Publications

• Conduct high-quality research in the relevant discipline.
• Publish in Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC A*/A listed journals (Minimum: 15 publications in the last 1 year).
