Qualification

• Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology or relevant specialization from a reputed institution.
• Consistently strong academic record with First Class at UG and PG levels.
• Minimum qualifications and experience as per UGC norms.
• Proven track record of high-quality research publications, funded projects, patents, consultancy, and academic leadership.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience in reputed universities/institutions.
• Experience in curriculum design, accreditation processes (NBA, NAAC, ABET, etc.), research supervision, and industry collaboration.
• Demonstrated success in guiding Ph.D. scholars, research projects, and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster an outcome-based education framework and ensure academic excellence.
• Establish a strong research culture within the department.

• Secure sponsored research grants from government and industry agencies.
• Lead patent filing, technology transfer, product development, and innovation initiatives.
• Mentor faculty members and research scholars in research activities.

Ph.D. Guidance & Mentoring

• Supervise and guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. research projects.
• Develop research laboratories, centers of excellence, and interdisciplinary research groups.
• Promote student participation in hackathons, competitions, conferences, and innovation programs.

Industry Collaboration

• Build strategic partnerships with industries, startups, research organizations, and technology companies.

Academic Administration
